Mallory Powell Social Services Campus
Mallory Powell Social Services Campus
This project created much needed additional space for The Salvation Army, enabling them to bring together, in one location, several programs in a campus setting.

Scope included site development, construction of two new structures and renovation and addition to the third. Building "A" is 5,500 sf and houses the administrative offices for the campus.  Connected to Building A by a covered walkway, Building "B" is 33,900 sf. It included renovation and addition to an existing structure to create 25 living units with complete kitchens, two of which are handicap accessible, and the "Christmas Joy Center" for toy distribution. Building "C" is 12,100 sf and acts as the center for The Salvation Army's Correctional Services, processing individuals on probation for the State of Florida.

Sallie House
Sallie House
The child welfare community has praised - and depended on - Sallie House since the early 1990's.  This new facility will result in a 33% increase in the capacity for children in need of emergency care and will serve to increase the efficiency in operations.  The one story masonry and steel truss residence is being built using durable, abuse-resistant materials. The new layout will allow children greater security and serenity while making supervision much easier for daily activities of homework, napping, bathing and playing music.
