The project scope includes both preconstruction services and phased construction for a new 35,800 sf museum addition, utilizing a steel frame with architectural precast cladding and high-end interior finishes. Construction of a 5,600 connector conservatory with marble floors and a  30’ high glass curtain wall and impact-resistant skylight system tie the new addition to the existing museum.

Renovations to the existing museum include installation of new fire sprinkler, fire alarm and security systems throughout, new 2,500 sf commercial kitchen and selective interior renovations.

The grand opening gala celebration of the new Hazel Hough Wing was held February 23, 2008.
