A new office and laboratory building for the St. Petersburg branch of USGS, the design of this phase creates a focal point along 4th Street South in downtown St. Petersburg. The roof construction for this one-story building includes the installation of a concrete slab on metal deck under a modified bitumen roofing system to allow for future expansion of two additional floors.
Exterior construction includes a combination architectural face brick, aluminum curtain wall system and stucco to match the existing master plan theme of the campus. Interior construction includes offices and laboratories with intricate wall and interior perimeter wood trim.
