At Hennessy, we major in completing our projects on time and on budget.  Our experience includes classrooms, laboratories, dormitories, gymnasiums, dining halls, administration buildings, student union and multi-purpose facilities, both renovation and new construction. We have been building on campuses with on-going operations, ensuring the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors without interrupting school activities or class schedules for more than 50 years.

Grade 2 - 4 Classroom Building
Grade 2 - 4 Classroom Building
This project, constructed during the school year with classes in session, is a 20,000 sf new addition for grades 2 through 4 at St. Paul's School. The new building also features a 4,000 sf connected, outdoor covered activity area. The building has 13 classrooms, one teacher's lounge, and two boys’ and two girls’ restrooms for the students. The entire new addition has state-of-the-art data and audio visual systems.

The structure was built utilizing concrete foundations, slab-on-grade, hollow core slabs, masonry, brick veneer and stucco. The roof system is wood truss with metal roofing. One half of the new structure sits over an existing retention pond to maximize land use on the campus.

As a result of the success of this project, Hennessy also renovated the existing “lower classrooms” section of the school, completing the project in October 2006.

Lower Class Room Renovation
Lower Class Room Renovation
This project, included 13,000 square feet of renovations. The work for this project first required completion of the new Grade 2-4 Classroom Addition to avoid interruptions to class schedules. Scope included all new finishes, new HVAC and new electrical systems for the building.

All on-site workers for both projects were required to comply with a certified sexual predator/offender background check from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, wear owner-issued badges, and sign-in at the jobsite every day to ensure separation of the workforce from the students, faculty and staff. Work hours were scheduled around the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up of students to maintain a safe environment for these daily activities.
