Pinellas County Emergency Responders Building

Wins 2012 Project of the Year from APWA West Coast Region

The Pinellas County Emergency Responders Building has been selected to receive the West Coast Branch's Project of the Year - Structures Award for the year 2012. This is a special honor that is reserved for the elite of Public Works Professionals, Projects, and Vendors in the Tampa Bay region of Florida.

The previous award that we received in March of 2010, 3 months before the project was completed, was called: The Award of Excellence, Meeting the Needs of First Responders, because the project was still under construction at the time and did not meet the criteria at that time for Project of the Year. Hennessy and Pinellas County are extremely proud of these accomplishments. We will share the results of the submissions to the Chapter as well as the National APWA when we hear back from those organizations.
