Hennessy Construction Services continued its long-standing relationship with Resurrection House by sponsoring multiple tables at the New Beginnings 2009 "Grand Slam" Breakfast. Many Hennessy employees and their guests joined a crowd of nearly 500 who filled the St. Petersburg Coliseum on the morning of April 23, 2009. Bronson Alexander, President of Hennessy Construction Services and Vice Chair of the Resurrection House Board of Directors welcomed everyone while they filled their plates at the buffet. The Very Reverend Stephen Morris of St. Peter's Episcopal Church led the invocation. Local celebrity Dick Crippin, Resurrection House President & CEO, Cynthia Sinclair, and Gordon and Gwen Johnson, Resurrection House Chair of the Board of Directors, all spoke to the themes of fortitude, focus and faith at Resurrection House. The event also included performances by September Penn and the personal testimony of one of the program's graduates.
Resurrection House's next fundraiser, Makeover Magic 2009, is scheduled for September 26, 2009 at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. For additional information on Resurrection House, please visit their website or follow them on Facebook. |

A morning of fashion, brunch and silent auction will surely be attended by many of the Hennessy ladies. Be sure to check out the Resurrection House website in early October for more news of this event.
